Discover Card - Misclassified Transactions class action settlement: claim your share

Under a proposed settlement, Discover Card holders charged incorrect interest or fees due to misclassified transactions between 2021 and 2024 may receive a refund. Affected users will receive automatic credits or check payments based on their total overcharge amount. While most payments are automatic, individuals with closed accounts should update their contact information by June 15, 2026.

You may be eligible to file a claim if you meet the following criteria: • End merchant, merchant acquirer, or payment intermediary involved in processing Discover card transactions. • Transaction occurred between January 1, 2007, and December 31, 2023, and was misclassified.
